Ian Wright - Founder and Principal
Ian has over 30 years of extensive experience in logistics and supply chain operations and planning. He has worked strategically and operationally with a wide variety of customers and clients of all sizes, from small to Fortune 500, and across nearly every industry vertical. During this time Ian has undertaken operational, analytical, sales, training, software developer, senior management, and consulting roles. Prior to the beginning of his career, Ian studied undergraduate-level logistics management and international transportation at the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology. He went on to study Master's level operations research at the University of Sussex focusing on problems in logistics and transportation.
His past roles and extensive background in transportation, logistics, supply chain, operational research, and programming has allowed him to build a deep understanding of the problems faced in logistics by companies, service providers, and consultants. With this combination of practical and technical, he brings a fresh and different way of looking at the issues of the field emphasizing practical, simple, and effective solutions that work.
